FOUNDER OF GIAO LTD HOW HE STARTED AGRICULTURAL TRADE-IN RWANDA

He lives in Rwamagana District in Gahengeri Sector, and even his own company is located. That one is Patrick Nyirinkindi, CEO of GIAO Ltd (Genuine Agricultural Inputs And Outputs), a processing plant that produces non-alcoholic and even sorghum beverages chili pepper.

Patrick, a young entrepreneur who studied business at the University of Rwanda, started an interview with Empathy Organics. He said that they began this factory project by creating training farmers to do original farming because their goal was to make products that have their originality and even have a way out of the agriculture already known in Rwanda's history.

Asked about the state of chili pepper farming, he is now in Rwanda. He replied that it was not long before this professional farming took place that he compared it to about seven years ago. He cited the example of the fact that he currently owns 4 hectares of land in Bugesera District, which only cultivates Chili pepper and even has other farmers who work with him to keep his business growing Inside He Has A Reason For Today They Have a Chili pepper In The Market called KAMBAZE CHILLI OIL.

Asked how he could get those 4 hectares of land, he replied that Normally owning such land is still difficult for young people. Yet, in Rwanda, there is an opportunity to rent land because it is very cheap, and it is the way he uses it. Even though the ground is close to the rivers, it is costly because renting one hectare per year is required to pay the US $ 300.

Respondents to the Challenges He Started with the Factory He said that the first one is that many of them are united as traders in agriculture. In Rwanda, it is challenging to find technological equipment that can be used to improve what you are determined to do, And let's not forget the time when it's still in the field Because it is costly for such machines to be available in Rwanda, the answer is finding the ones that will work here and get them cheap.

Another obstacle is that there is still very little knowledge about international trade. Even this is seen as a significant obstacle to the lack of access to the global market soon also. Getting a loan from a bank in Rwanda for young entrepreneurs is still tricky because of the requirements because as young people, they do not have the example of those cars or houses that are required to provide them with a mortgage otherwise, they will get a loan Even if they give you a rate of return they want a higher rate of interest and get the answer is how banks would take care of a person's project rather than take care of the collateral and even reduce the cost of interest on the starter.

Patrick also said that the reason he started the project was that for the first time, he felt that his goal should be self-sufficient and that in Rwanda, there is a plan to facilitate people with similar ideas. For example, registering your company in Rwanda takes six hours

While In Other Countries are Difficult Also, in Rwanda, they make it easier to get information about public institutions when you want to use it in your business. Even the advantage they know is straightforward for investors to make it easier.

In concluding the interview with Empathy Organics, he advised young investors that the first thing to do to make your business thrive is to be polite to the second you are Determined Even in you Have the Perseverance in Your Work.
